PTPTN compulsory salary deduction for government servants starting September


Government servants who failed to pay their National Higher Education Fund (PTPTN) loans will have their salary auto deducted. The move is compulsory and will start on September.  There are a total of 33,000 government servants including senior officials who failed to settled their PTPTN loans. The initiative will start with 480 Public Service Department (PSD) staffs. The ministry will also be meeting the PTPTN defaulters to see their issues and the reasons they are unable to pay the PTPTN loan.

At the moment, all of the public sector servants who are unable to repay their PTPTN loan have been identified and the name will be submitted to ministry’s secretary general.
